Politecnico di Torino

Politecnico di Torino represents a leading public university, in Italy and in Europe, in technical-scientific teaching and research. Founded 150 years ago, today Politecnico di Torino has three Schools of Engineering, two Schools of Architecture, a School of Economics and Management, plus a Post-Graduate School. The Politecnico is a research university interested in the balanced development of both theoretical and applied research. It has close relationships with international institutions, companies, local government and other types of association and takes social and economic consideration into baccount. With more than 150 bilateral international agreements and 40 double degree agreements, PoliTO has links with the most prestigious universities in Europe and in the world, and participates in various initiatives to promote and encourage the
student mobility and the attainment of degrees in its partner institutions. There different Departments are involved in this project.

  • The DAUIN “Dipartimento di Automatica e Informatica” (Department of Control and Computer Engineering) organizes research and teaching activities for everything concerning three specific scientific areas.
  • The DISAT department deals with various research subjects which range from the fundamentals of chemistry and materialsscience to the production and behaviour of engineered materials.
  • The DIATI (Department of Environment, Land and Infrastructure Engineering) is committed to the development of research andtraining in the sectors connected to environment, resources and land, hydraulics, transportations and related technologies
