Politecnico di Torino -one of the most prestigious public institutions in Italy -  presented the paper “A Workflow Analysis for Implementing AR-Based Maintenance Procedure” at the 1st Augmented and Virtual Reality International Conference held in Salento, Italy.

The aim of the conference was to bring a community of researchers from academia and industry, computer scientists, engineers, physicians together in order to share points of views, knowledge, experiences and scientific and technical results, related to state-of-the-art solutions and technologies on virtual and augmented reality applications for medicine, cultural heritage, education, industrial sectors, as well as the demonstration of advanced products and technologies.

M4 meeting in Katholieke Universiteit Leuven

The M4 meeting of EASE-R3project was held on October 15-16th in Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. The first day has been mainly dedicated to the working groups. They met each other to plan the next actions and to start the discussion for the main topics of the WP1 and WP3. During the second day, IK4-IDEKO showed the web-site capabilities and all the partners have been involved in a workshop to suggest the areas to monitor accordingly to the project’s aims.

Kick-off meeting held in Fidia

The kick-off meeting of EASE-R3 project was held on July 23-24th in FIDIA’s facilities in San Mauro Torinese, Italy. Main objectives of the meeting were to set the official start of the project, establish relations between all partners, provide clarification about administrative issues and define the specific work that each participant is going to make in the following months.
